| The TLV320AIC3254 is a low-power audio codec with an integrated miniDSP, PowerTune™ technology and single-supply operation.
The miniDSP off-loads the host processor and allows users to run complex algorithms such as noise and echo cancellation. PowerTune technology provides maximum flexibility for power consumption control. This control means a device can be set for very low power and good signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) or low power and very good SNR. And, the codec's single-supply operation makes audio design easier as well as less expensive.
The TLV320AIC3254 comes with a PurePath™ Studio Development Toolkit that enables the use of predefined software as well as the ability to develop customized components. | | That's High-Performance Analog>>Your Way™ | Key features - PowerTune technology:
- DAC: 90 dB at 7.7 mW
100 dB at 9.1 mW - ADC: 86 dB at 8.4 mW
93 dB at 14.2 mW - 4.1-mW DAC stereo playback
(DVdd=1.26V, AVdd=1.8V)
- miniDSP: two independent cores, one on each the ADC and DAC, which can also be synchronized
- Integrated LDO for single-supply operation
- 2 x 64 mW into 16Ω stereo headphones
- Package option: 5x5 mm, 32-QFN
| Key applications - Cell phones
- Portable navigation devices (PND)
- Portable media players (PMP)
- MP3 players
- Systems that require the lowest power consumption possible
